Kareena's 'Chameli' look finalised for her statue at Madame Tussauds

Just last month we had informed you that the latest Bollywood celeb to be joining the wax works at Madame Tussauds is Kareena Kapoor. Well, the leggy damsel will now be seen in herChameli look at the museum.

For her wax statue, various looks were discussed, however the maximum number of votes went to Kareena's look in her film Chameli, for which she won many awards. Besides, the museum wanted her wax statue to appear in Indian wear. Hence, her Chameli look was finalised.

Kareena's look in the film was designed by Manish Malhotra and executive producer Rangita Nandy, who scoured the streets of Mumbai to get the look of a sex worker down pat. With this, we guess Manish's work will last forever along side Kareena.

I want to marry a Malayali girl: Salman Khan

A week prior to Bodyguard’s release, HT Café’s guest editor Salman Khan opens up about his relationship with the media, real-life bodyguard Shera, anger management, religion, Sanjay Dutt and Shah Rukh Khan among other things.

Given that you are the guest editor today, what is the one thing that you’ve read about yourself in a newspaper or a magazine that is beyond belief?
Pretty much everything that I read about myself is beyond belief. I just feel that you guys (media) know me more than my own family. Seriously, I have this strange capacity of letting go of a lot of things till it comes to one point where I feel bahut ho gaya (I’ve had enough). At that point of time, I cut myself off totally or I react to it.

Chitrangda goes to school!

She might be considered a dusky diva in reel life but Chitrangda Singh is set to don a new avatar in real life - lecturer. The story goes: during the filming of the climax of debutant director Rohit Dhawan's Desi Boyz, Chitrangda had a great time discussing the nuances of acting with veteran actor Anupam Kher.

The Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi (2005) actor spent almost three days during the filming of climax with Kher, who coincidentally owns a famous acting school. As per sources, she learnt and discussed useful inputs from Kher on acting. Impressed by Chitrangda, Kher promptly invited her to visit his acting school and give a few classes on acting besides conducting some acting workshops.

When contacted, Chitrangda said: "I'm very honoured and touched by Anupam Kher's invitation to teach at his acting school especially since it comes from a veteran actor who could surely teach me a thing or two. It has been an enriching experience working with him in Desi Boyz and I look forward to visiting his school soon." For the uninitiated, Chitrangda stars in Desi Boyz, which will also see actors Akshay Kumar, John Abraham and Deepika Padukone among others. The film has been majorly shot in London. For the film, Chitrangda will also be seen in a glamourous dance number.

Of late, Chitrangda has been in the news after Jacqueline Fernandez suddenly replaced her in the mutant's role in Krissh 3. Although filmmaker Rakesh Roshan and Chitrangda cite a problem of dates, reports suggest there's more than what meets the eye. "I can only say there were date issues... I tried to sort it out. But couldn't manage," Chitrangda stated, while Roshan said, "Chitrangda tried her best to give us dates in December-January. But I think she has some family commitments and she couldn't accommodate us. So I had to opt for another actor."
