X FACTOR judge Kelly Rowland loves Britain so much she is planning to move here.
And the American superstar has revealed she wants to be “wifed up” by the time she’s 40 – even if it’s with a British fan who has no money.
In an exclusive chat with The People, Kelly said: “I’ve been looking for a house over here and I’ve found one I love. Fingers crossed it will go through.”
And the Destiny’s Child singer, who has been propositioned by scores of wannabe singers since the new series of the hit ITV1 talent show started two weeks ago, is looking for a fella, too.
Last week she was romanced by contestant Derry Mensah, 20, who confessed his love for her.
But despite rumours Kelly, 30, is secretly dating her manager Tim Weatherspoon, the singer insists she is still single and would date a penniless fan
She said: “I am a single girl right now and I am having so much fun dating. I am happy. Dating is wonderful.
“But hopefully in 10 years I want to be married. I want to be wifed up by then with at least three kids.
“I will love all my babies when I have kids. I just want to be a mum now. That would be awesome to me.”
Crush: Contestant Derry hugs Kelly
Kelly, whose hometown is Houston, Texas, doesn’t rule out a British guy now that she’s fallen in love with the UK. She said: “I didn’t think I would love it as much in the UK as I do and I am having the time of my life here.
“I love everything about London and the surrounding areas, it is so cool.
Exciting
“Plus, I am really starting to love the men over here too. I am really hoping that I end up with one.
“This is most exciting opportunity of my life. I have a feeling I will find The One over here.” Kelly’s world was shattered a few months ago when she split from her former manager Devyne Stephens.
But with the break-up behind her, Kelly says she is searching for a real man with a heart who can make her happy.
She said: “I don’t care about dating someone without money. I just want someone who can make me laugh, who has goals and someone who is not intimidated by what I do. I am doing The X Factor right now and having the best fun.
“I have no issues about dating someone not in the business.
“Sometimes I come across as a control freak. But it would be good to meet someone who can calm me down without being too much of a man. There is no ring on this finger yet.”
Kelly is currently in Las Vegas where she last week congratulated fellow bandmate Beyoncé on her pregnancy. But despite rumours the band are on the verge of splitting, Kelly insists relations with her, Beyoncé and Michelle Williams are strong.
She said: “People will always talk about Destiny’s Child breaking up. But we do love each other.
Team: Kelly and bandmate Beyonce
“My mum says when people stop talking then that is when you should worry, so I ain’t worrying.
“Beyoncé, Michelle and I are tight. We will be getting back together.” Kelly also hopes Beyoncé, who is 30 today, and husband Jay-Z, 41, will be at The X Factor final.
She said: “It would mean a lot to have them there in my corner for support – Daddy, Mummy, and bump.”
Kelly warns there will be fireworks between her and the other judges – veteran Louis Walsh, Take That’s Gary Barlow and Tulisa Contostavlos of N-Dubz – when the live finals start. She said: “Tulisa is a really opinionated confident woman, Gary says what he means, and look at the fights Louis and Simon Cowell used to have.”
Adorable
But they are all great friends. Kelly said: “I am so blessed to be working with three people I get on with so well.
“I love Louis, he is just so adorable and his ‘head judge’ mug means so much to him.
“It’s so funny watching him and Gary fight over the mug.” Kelly intends to promote her latest album Here I Am across Europe and Asia on the back of X Factor.
And she intends to pass on everything she has learnt to acts she will be mentoring later this series.
She said: “I will be telling them to pay attention to everything. When I started I did not look at everything.
“I want to make sure the kids coming up sign everything and look over every contract.
“Kids need to know the pitfalls of the music business.
“That is why being on The X Factor is such a great opportunity for me.
“On the back of the X Factor I want to be able to reach out to my fans in different ways.
